Christmas Light Installation in Walker, MI
Grand Rapids Event Rentals installs custom holiday and Christmas lighting for houses and businesses throughout Grand Rapids and Kent County. One call to (616) 319-2107 gets you a free quote and a locked in install date. Lighting up gatherings is what we do all year, from wedding tents to backyard parties, and every winter that same experienced crew measures, cuts and hangs commercial grade LEDs shaped to your roofline. What Our Customers Say
Our Services
It starts with a walkthrough: measuring the runs, mapping where power actually reaches, settling on color, then one flat price carrying install, winter maintenance and removal. Our Walker routes take in Standale, the neighborhoods around Walker Ice and Fitness, the newer stretches near Three Mile and Kinney, and the wooded parcels out toward Marne, from October until the last strand is boxed in January.
Our Work
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a minimum job size for Walker?
There is a practical floor, since sending a crew and a truck out only makes sense above a certain amount of work, but it is lower than most people expect. A single front roofline on a modest Walker ranch is a perfectly normal job for us. If your idea genuinely is too small to justify the trip, we will tell you honestly rather than pad the quote.
Do you offer any kind of guarantee?
Effectively, yes, though we do not dress it up as a certificate. If any part of the display fails during the season we come fix it at no charge, and if we cannot make something work we do not charge you for it. Service through the winter is inside the price, which is the part that actually matters.
Can you match lighting to an existing outdoor setup?
Usually. If you already have landscape lighting, permanent soffit lights or a smart system, tell us during the walkthrough and we will match color temperature and coordinate timing so the holiday layer does not clash with what is already there. Mismatched whites are the most common way a display ends up looking accidental.
How does weather affect the install schedule?
We install through cold and light snow without difficulty. High wind and ice are what actually stop us, since neither is safe on a roof. If we have to move your date we call you rather than leaving you guessing, and we rebook at the earliest workable slot instead of pushing you to the back.
Do you serve the areas just outside Walker?
Yes. The same routes reach Standale, Comstock Park, Marne, Allendale and the northwest edge of Grand Rapids, so if you are near Walker rather than strictly inside the city limits it makes no practical difference to scheduling or service response.
What insurance and certifications do your crews carry?
Full liability insurance, plus the credentials in the site header. Our teams hold the Advanced Inflatable Safety Operations Certification through SIOTO, the Safe Inflatable Operators Training Organization, and we are members of the Inflatable Operators Association. The rigging and fall protection standards that govern raising event structures are exactly the ones we apply on a Walker roof in January.
West Side Homes Are On Our Route
Walker sits an easy drive from our Barry Street warehouse, the same place our wedding and party gear ships from every weekend. Check the pin below and scan the reviews before you book your holiday install.
